Most fishermen consider blue marlin fishing the most awesome adventure possible. Due to the size and strength of this fish, the fisherman is given a special challenge. Also, due to the fact that this fish is rare, it is a special treat to sight and catch it. Gear varies, is specialized, and can become very expensive. There are three types of gear to be used in catching this fish. First, there is the artificial lure. There is also rigged natural and live bait. Different fishermen prefer different types of gear. This gives the thrill of choosing the type that will more effectively entice the fish sought with marlin fishing charters.
Artificial lures are one type of gear used to catch these fish. They range from sizes designed to catch smaller marlin to one designed to catch huge ones. Depending on the size fish you are seeking, you can use the appropriate size. The action and appearance of these lures appeal to the aggressive nature of these fish. They are constructed of a metal or plastic head and a plastic skirt. The size and way they are constructed determine the action of the lure. This ability to control he action by making adjustments to construction for optimum action is part of the challenge.
Rigged natural bait varies according to the desires of the fisherman. This is natural bait that has been "rigged" to allow particular action to attract the fish desired. They are wired or tied to a hook or hook combination to attract and catch the fish. They can be combined with artificial lures to construct skirted baits or bait/lure combinations.
Live bait fishing is perhaps the most challenging. The bait has to be trolled slowly enough to keep it alive but fast enough to entice the fish. Tuna is the commonly used bait with skipjack being the preferred species. This type of fishing is best used in small areas with huge concentrations of fish. It is best used near FAD (Fish Aggregation Device) buoys or around underwater ledges where fish are congregated.
Landing this fish can take as many as six hours of intensive work. Plus, even after struggling for up to 6 hours for the catch, you can lose it at the last moment. Some fishermen make the task a little easier by working as a team with other fishermen, each taking a turn fighting the big fish.
There is the choice of killing the fish or simply tagging it and letting it go. Those who favor killing the fish and landing it for a trophy argue that the fatigued fish will die anyway. Others, who favor tagging and releasing, argue that there are enough good replicas that the fisherman can have his trophy without killing any fish. Often, fishing charters will require that you tag and release.

my sister is having a baby boy
they are going to name it emerson and i am 99.9% sure its middle name will be alexander so its emerson alexander but.....
her baby shower is in 3 days
i am only 13 and for the gift i waas going to take a blue scrapbooking page right emerson in the top left corner and alexander in the bottom right.
and in the middle i was going to put a poem. and then frame the page.
but i cant think of a poem for the middle so i wondered if you guys could help me even if it was just the first 3 lines to get me started
