Thanksgiving Scrapbooking
Chocolate Hazelnut Tart
Thanksgiving is right around the corner. In a case of weeks all your family and friends will be showing up at your door to celebrate gratitude, appreciation, and America. Turkeys will be in the cooker, stuffing will be made, and you will make each kind of potato dish known to occupy. Now that all that is settled, how in the world will you decide what to make for dessert? You know that you will have the standard pies : pumpkin, pecan, and apple. But this year you need something new, something to really make this year's Thanksgiving stand apart from the rest. The answer is straightforward : chocolate.
With so many smashing foods in season, dark chocolate regularly gets overlooked as a chance for your Thanksgiving puddings. But why would we overlook a classic that is beloved year round? Yes, we should completely exploit the pears, cranberries, pumpkins, and nuts that are abundant in the autumn, but let's ensure we cover the fundamentals that work all year long.
An excellent chocolate pudding that also offers a salute to the season is a succulent chocolate hazelnut tart. This recipe is so astonishingly straightforward, and it'll leave your guests begging to make chocolate hazelnut tart a new tradition for every Thanksgiving meal. All the ingredients you will need are potentially already sitting at home in your pantry. You'll need a cup of sugar, two tbsps. Of flour, three beaten eggs, 1 cups peeled, sliced, and toasted hazelnuts, 1 cup of bitter-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup corn syrup, two tbsps. Liquified butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla extract, tsp. Salt, and a store bought pie crust.
You won't believe how simple this recipe is! Heat your stove to 325 degrees. Mix the sugar and the flour together in a large bowl. Then add the remainder of the ingredients and stir them together well. Simply pour the mix into the defrosted pie crust and cook for one hour. Let the tart cool for no less than 30 minutes before serving. This should make about 6 servings, and is sure to please with every bite. This year start a new tradition : add chocolate hazelnut tart to the list of your Thanksgiving must-have puddings!
