Educate Your Pet with a Training Collar
If no training method has any success with your dog, this can drive you crazy. Not all pet owners are able to train their dogs themselves, because they either lack the talent or they have to deal with a difficult pet. Whichever the reason might be, you must not lose hope. We can't all be dog whisperers and every dog owner has to start somewhere. Luckily, technilogical advances have made it possible for pet owners to invest less effort into training their dogs. The tool they came up with is known as the Training Collar.
A training collar is a special electronic collar that goes around your dog's neck like any other collar. However, it's not like any regular dog collar, because you can control it with a remote. With this remote, you can control the barking of your dog. There is a warning button on the remote that you can use to send warning sounds whenever your dog starts barking. If the dog keeps barking, you can press another button and the collar will send your dog a mild shock. The barking collar uses a method called negative reinforcement.
Most people believe the collar is an inhumane object to use when training a dog but it is no different from using a spray bottle or a swift smack on the nose. Still, this is not true; the device doesn't do any harm. It merely sends shocks that annoy your dog; also, you are the one who controls all shocks and warning signals. However, most pet owners that have used a Training Collar have found that they have only ever had to shock their pet two or three times before the warning beeps were enough to correct his or her behavior. If you don't want to stress the dog too much, then you can use the warning button more. Also, you can reward your dog with a tasty treat whenever the training makes progress.
It will not take long before your dog will learn when to bark and then you will not need to use the training collar anymore. He will listen to your commands and not run off chasing after whatever catches his eye. This training device is a much better choice than simply sending your dog away.
The training collars aren't a new discovery; they've been used by dog owners for some time now. The shocks they send don't hurt your pet, but they irritate it instead.
